Mountains Country House Wedding Photographer
When was the last time you were on a bouncy castle? if you don’t know know the answer, then its been too long. Instantly taking any one from sensible adult to full blown kid in seconds, your wedding needs one! Emma and Pete chose Mountains Country House as their venue and what a charming place it is. These guys are so sweet and Pete couldn’t keep it together when he saw Emma coming down the aisle, pretty soon everyone was crying, even the registrar…i’ll be a mess on my wedding day fo sho so don’t worry big guy. In the words of Cilla there were a lorra lorra laughs (imagine her saying cooked cucumber, always makes me laugh) the bubbles were a fantastic idea, especially as every venue in the country now demands that confetti is biodegradable. It’s a great way to inject some fun and colour into the parade. As you can see from the bouncy castle photographs, I like to get involved. I always think its sad when couples report encounters with photographers that weren’t interested, there is some fantastic talent out there and us new breed of wedding guys and gals are proud of what we do. We commit to your day physically and emotionally and sometimes you just have to join in. Mountains gets the thumbs up all round, the venue is intimate and homely, some country houses loose something by being too big, this keeps guests guessing, whilst keeping everyone close to the action and aids a warm atmosphere. The first dance was neatly choreographed and perfectly executed, turns, twists and The Bodyguard lift – yes, I’ve seen it. A fantastic day, thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.
For the techies I haven’t employed the Sam Hurd prism technique just yet, shooting through regular decorative cut glass gives the exact same effect, however I must confess chimping has changed the way I shoot the first dance forever. Such a brilliant technique for controlling flair and bringing all the separate colours from the disco together as one.
