Spring Wedding Northamptonshire
Dodmoor House is an incredibly popular wedding venue in Northampton, and rightfully so. It looks beautiful all year round and the grounds are so gorgeous that it doesn’t really matter where the sun is (as of course it’s position changes during the year) as you can rotate in any direction and still have a beautiful backdrop with squint free photographs! As you can see from the prep images the room the bride gets ready in is incredibly bright, plenty of windows to let natural light flood in, this can create incredibly dramatic images rain or shine as the contrast really ramps up, meaning whatever the weather, the images will be awesome.
Now then, who doesn’t like a dog in a bowtie? Look at how cute these labs are. I’d like a dog, but it would probably eat my chickens. Could I train one to be an assistant? What, and then write it off as a tax expense? Oh my god that’s genius!
As you can see as the light begins to fade at Dodmoor and the sun sets, a whole new world is illuminated. From the awesome textures in the trees to the dream like patterns by the canal, depending on what time of day you’re shooting, a whole world of possibilities are opened up. Personally, I love that, it’s one thing that makes photographing weddings so brilliant. Even venues that you’re incredibly familiar with change every time. A building is just a building, the people inside it bring a whole new dimension to the proceedings. You’ll see from the layout of the ceremony and the wedding breakfast that this is an incredibly intimate venue, even though dining is across two floors, it never feels separated, and who knows, you may have a rowdy table you want to keep separate anyway.
