Wedding Photography Packages FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions. Answered

We Would Like A Few Group Pictures, Is That Ok?

Of course! All I ask for is a list of the people you’d like included before the day. I’ll do the organising!

We Would Like Pictures of Us Together, But Not Waste Valuable Partying Time

Not a problem, twenty minutes is plenty.

Do You Take Pictures Of Details?

Always. The details help tell the full story of the day (plus flowers cost loads).

Can We Order An Album?

Yes! There is nothing quite like a printed photograph! If you’d like an album I’d love to help you put one together. There is something truly wonderful about having a book of beautiful images. The tactile experience truly completes the story. My most popular book is a 10×10″ fine art album, between 40 and 60 double page spreads is usually enough to give us room to print some pictures huge and still tell the story of the day. If you budget £400 this will cover it. Simply send me a message and I’ll make you a first draft! We then send it back and forth making changes until you’re ready to go to print.

Some clients book two years in advance, others only a few months (the record is three and a half weeks), to say YOU MUST BOOK NOW is just too salesly for my liking. If you think I’d be a good fit to document your day, fill out the contact form available here, let me know your date and we’ll get a meeting booked in.

Theres a booking form and a deposit to pay to secure your date, but first off, CLICK HERE for the contact form, let me know when and where your event is taking place and we’ll get the ball rolling.

In another life I was a teacher, so i’ve got my loud projection voice nailed.

All of the images are edited by me, I do not outsource any of the work. All images are delivered to the same standard that you see across my site and social media.

Unplugged weddings became a sort of ‘thing’ in 2016. It is, however, entirely up to you if you want to enforce that at your own wedding. I have no problem with family and friends taking photographs at all. As a photographer I understand the joy of taking your own pictures and would never seek to take that away from anyone. There are sometimes issues where guests have iPads in your face as you walk down the aisle (which can block your view of your partner) but the call is ultimately yours to make. My recommendation? have the officiant ask for no pictures to be taken during the ceremony so everyone remains in the moment and emotionally present.

If I die, I won’t be able to attend…which would be sad. If I get sick, don’t worry, I’m very fortunate to have a network of talented photographers and a replacement will be found, even at short notice. Don’t worry, I’m not into extreme ironing and I’m not keen on heights either.

I always seek your permission before posting anything.

I am a Hungry Hungry Hippo. If you’re able to provide a meal for me I would be most grateful. If not, just let me know in advance and I’ll pack the jam sandwiches.

Yes, there are a few that I work with regularly and can highly recommend. I’ll happily pass you their contact details.

I can make you a promise. Everyone you see on my website said the exact same thing and I’ll never ask you to pose. During the pictures of you both together – you’ve just got married, the surroundings are beautiful, you can hear the distant chatter of the party, you look at you partner and BAM, smiles. You don’t have to force it, it’s already there. Meeting in person or having a Zoom call is really important to the whole process, it means you know me before the day. Come the wedding day, I turn up and it’s ‘hey Liam’s here!’, then for the rest of the day, you can largely ignore me, trusting in the fact that I’m documenting the day whilst you’re busy having a good time.

Take Me To The Contact Form

Fill out the contact form, I’d love to hear about what you’ve got planned. Still got questions? By all means, ask anything and everything, I’m here to help.
