Laura & Steve Real Wedding at Northbrook Park
“Kiss me with rain on your eyelashes,
come on, let us sway together,
under the trees, and to hell with thunder”
-Edwin Morgan
Ayyy did it rain. It rained, rained…then rained again, alas with the sturdy branches of an overhanging tree no happiness can be stifled by the weather! Yes believe it or not it was raining when this image was taken. It just demonstrates what can be done if you know where to look. Fun fact, Edwin Morgan (author of the above poem) left a million pounds to the Scottish National Party, they used the money to fund the independence campaign…sorry Edwin.
I’ve encountered many peacocks at wedding venues before, however these chaps had a taste for adventure. Once the majority of the crowds had segued into the orangery for the wedding breakfast, these unlikely Indiana Jones types had a good old wander around the ceremony room to consider what merriment they may have missed. Merry was certainly being made throughout the day, from failed selfies and epic chanting to the reason why all the groomsmen are laughing before the ceremony, I’ll leave that story for someone else to tell…
Thank you so much guys for letting me be a part of your day, friends from all corners of the globe made me feel so welcome. If you’re looking for a Northbrook Park wedding photographer get in touch.
