real moments - no posing
Hi, I'm Liam! A wedding photographer in Milton Keynes. I love capturing real moments between people and documenting the emotional journey of a wedding day. My work is candid and never staged, I don't pose people or interfere with moments. Weddings are fun, and that's what I aim to capture.
Weddings are an incredible journey, a rollercoaster of emotions. I photograph candidly, documenting your day with integrity, preserving the laughter and the tears, delivering a version of events that you recognise and allows you to relive the day.
It is important for me that you recognise yourselves in my photographs. I do not pose my pictures, everything you see on my site actually happened, none of my photographs are choreographed or re-enacted, you can re-live the events of your own wedding knowing that all moments captured are a true representation of events. To me those moments are pure and deserve more than anything to be preserved.
I believe in photographing people and celebrating them for who they are, not what a magazine cover or blog says they should be. Each wedding is unique as is each individual. I believe in delivering photographs of individuals, not recycling poses.
Recording your personal story
After graduating from Nottingham Trent in Photography I headed back to become Milton Keynes to start my documentary wedding photography business. Like most wedding photographers you never know that’s what you’re going to be. Until you shoot your first one, then you’re hooked. Documenting people on their wedding day is such a privilege, wedding photographs should never be just a set of pretty pictures, they should come together to form a comprehensive narrative of the day and that’s what I always aim to create. I travel all over the country photographing weddings, head on over to my portfolio page to see more of my work.
A selection of my most recent weddings are featured on my wedding photography blog. Check back regularly as this page updates with new posts! So far this year I have been lucky enough to visit a stunning variety of venues including destination weddings in Spain and Italy. The blog is a fantastic way to get an idea of a full days wedding coverage. Images from bridal preparations right the way through to the first dance with all the love and laughter in between. It demonstrates how my work forms a cohesive narrative of your day. Sure there’s a few stand alone crackers from an artistic point of view, but your day is a story and each moment is equally important. Check out the recent posts below, weddings from Woburn Sculpture Gallery, Stowe School and Stony Stratford.

My genuine passion for wedding photography is what sets me apart – I love what I do. My portfolio does most of the talking, but you have to make a genuine connection with clients. You develop a friendship and they trust you, they will then fully commit to any ideas you have and this is where truly great photographs come from. Before deciding on a photographer, go out for a drink and really get to know them. If you don’t feel comfortable around them, you wont be able to relax on the wedding day. Remember they’ll be spending your wedding day with you, it makes such a difference feeling like you have a friend with you rather than a stranger.
My style is unobtrusive, I record your day as it unfolds in front of me. As a requested wedding photographer Milton Keynes, I know that...: At times it is important to insert yourself into a situation to make a good photograph great, however this only occurs during shots of you both together. My posing techniques are very simple. There is no dramatic jumping around or pretending to laugh. I use my experience to place you in the best light and in the right position – who doesn’t want to look their best on their wedding day!
