Chinese Wedding Photographer

With so many intricate parts of the day to capture, all of them happening at a fast pace with no time in between, you need an experienced Chinese wedding photographer to capture the moments that will tell the story of your day. Capturing images and film across the country, my unique brand of Chinese wedding photography focuses on documenting your day in a natural, reportage style, not posing you or interfering with moments but capturing events exactly as they happened. This results in a collection of images that depict real moments, that can help you relive the day for years to come. Having worked across the UK and Europe, I have captured images of all faiths, creeds and cultures. I never get tired of seeing how different people celebrate the union of two people in love.

Traditions & Colour!

Why I Love Photographing Chinese Weddings

From traditional to entirely left field and alternative, I’ve seen all sorts, but no matter how familiar the ceremonies or the traditions, no two weddings are ever the same. The days are long and intense, early starts before sunrise to capture door games, right through to the small hours taking pictures on the dance floor. Chinese weddings are extravagant and unique, but always a lot of fun.

Chinese weddings are unique in the sense that they bring the color of the orient to contrasting parts of the UK. I’ve photographed Chinese weddings in the capital as well as in the Highlands of Scotland! The reds and golds set against the Victorian era buildings or the epic dark skies of a rainy Scotland are truly a remarkable sight. My natural, documentary wedding photography style lends itself to weddings that are people-focused and full of personality. My images and film capture all the moments as they unfold naturally. My cameras operate in complete silence, which allows me to get close up intimate shots of you and your family in the middle of emotional moments without drawing attention to myself or disrupting proceedings. This also means I can move through the crowd discreetly too and capture all of your guests without them being aware of my presence. It’s amazing the feedback that I get from clients when they can’t quite believe how much ground I manage to cover and how many guests I manage to photograph without them knowing. All of the laughter, tears of joy, crazy dance moves and intimate moments are captured whilst you are busy enjoying your day. Hiring a Chinese wedding photographer requires real trust, but rest assured, I am an experienced professional, and you are in safe hands!
