Hedsor house is a beautiful wedding venue located in Buckinghamshire, England. the house dates back to the 11th century, and it has been the site of numerous royal weddings, including the wedding of Charles, prince of wales, and Diana, princess of wales. the house has also been featured in films and television series, such as Downton abbey and the crown. Hedsor house is a truly stunning place, my favourite part of the venue is the ceremony room as it has a mezzanine balcony around the entire room, this means that you can create a truly intimate ceremony whilst having large numbers of guests as they can be seated all around you. if you have the ceremony in the centre of the room, everyone, regardless of where they are sat will feel a central part of the service. it also means that everyone can throw confetti from up high, or you can have a choir or string quarter playing as you enter and exit. the sound fills the room and the acoustics are excellent. Taplow is a village in Buckinghamshire, England, situated on the bank of the river Thames. The name Taplow is thought to derive from the old English “taet”, meaning “teat”, and “hlaew”, meaning “hill”. the domesday book of 1086 records that there were 24 households in the village. in 1294, the bishop of Lichfield granted a charter for a weekly market and an annual fair to be held in Taplow. the fair continued to be held until 1839, when it was discontinued due to declining attendances. throughout its history, Taplow village has been home to a number of notable residents, including Frederick prince of wales, who died at cliveden house in 1751; poet Robert browning, who lived in Farley chambers from 1846 to 1849; and actress dame Judi dench, who grew up in the village. Today, Taplow is a popular tourist destination, with a number of historic buildings and monuments to explore.
