Chris & Iggy Real Wedding at Nether Winchendon House
When I see a willow tree at a wedding venue, its game over. I used the trees for Toni & Rich and Katie & Tom‘s stories here too. The cascading branches surround you in a protective green shroud, sunlight delicately seeping through the leaves creating a perfect emerald backdrop. There’s something so incredibly mysterious about the tangled boughs, but the lighting scenario that it gifts a photographer is second to none. Nether Winchendon House is one of those tucked away gems, nestled amongst a small village community the feeling of exclusivity is upon you as soon as you breech the garden walls. Even upon reaching the house itself you’re struck with awe, excitement and even a little confusion as placing the buildings era is quite a challenge. Gothic windows and Tudor chimneys create an eclectic masterpiece which is possibly one of the most romantic settings for a wedding I have come across. Exclusivity and flexibility is an absolute must for some couples and if you’re contemplating a wedding in Buckinghamshire, this should definitely be on your visit list. The venue is yours for the weekend, stay the night before and the night of the wedding, no rushing to be out by 10am the next morning! Want to get married in the barn? no problem, Outside? Marquee? whatever you like, a Nether Winchendon house wedding is your to customise! Honestly this place has it all and is so versatile you could shoot an entire season of weddings here and still have unique photographs every time.
