Wedding Photographer Hertfordshire
What’s my style? Personal, unobtrusive and candid. There is never any pressure for you to perform, you do love your way and I’ll be there to capture it. I love the subtlety of a wedding day, eyes and hands are so emotive and play a massive part in telling the emotional journey of the day. From first glances to nervous squeezes I want to capture it all! Hertfordshire is a beautiful county and home to some amazing venues to photograph, if you like the look of my portfolio and blog then head on over to the contact page and we can discuss your day!
Wedding photography has evolved massively in a short space of time, for me that’s a good thing. Life is all about emotion, the ups and downs, laughter and tears. Weddings can bring all of that emotion and more so it’s imperative that you hire someone you like, but also that you trust to see you at your most vulnerable. I say to every prospective client that I will be a few feet away from you as you get married, it is of the utmost importance that you like me otherwise you will always be conscious of my presence. I really don’t think this can be underestimated, whoever you book you should like them, you may laugh, you may cry, the photographer will see it all so trust for me is a big deal.
Documentary Image Maker
I see wedding pictures differently. I like big, open mouthed laughter, squeals of delight and tears of pure joy. You are different, your wedding will be different, so why should your pictures be the same as everyone else’s? Same poses, same lighting? Not on my watch! My aim is to bring back every moment through your images, being able to relive those important moments forever. I want you to show your children and they say ‘hey, your wedding photos are all kinds of awesome’ you must have had some sort of intergalactic wedding photographer, to which you reply ‘Liam was in beast mode and took the best pictures I’ve ever seen’ or something like that, I haven’t put much thought into it. I wont make you dip your partner, get the whole wedding party to jump or take ages with group pictures, efficient planning (and a loud voice) is all it takes.

Pictures for the modern couple
Almost everyone who gets in touch says that they hate having their photograph taken. This is normal. Who has their picture taken in their day to day lives? exactly, so of course you’re not used to it. This brings me back to trust. Hire someone who’s portfolio speaks to you, meet with them, and if you trust them then you’ve found your guy or gal! If there is any hesitancy then it will show in your pictures as you’ll never be sure if it’s going to turn out well. This is where I’ve been told i’m quite good, making people relax and act naturally is an important part of what I do, I pride myself on doing it well. The biggest compliment people pay me on the day is when they ask if i’m a family friend because I seem to know everyone. That to me is the best, it means that everyone around me has felt relaxed, under no pressure to perform for the professional and that my outfit was amazing, ha! Seriously though my new slingshot which lets me hold two cameras at once looks a bit like reigns, always good for a laugh. If you’re looking for a photographer to capture your Hertfordshire wedding who wants to capture amazing pictures of your day and does it with a bit of fun then please do get in touch, i’d love to hear from you.
