Whether it’s a small, intimate gathering or a grand celebration, Willen Lake offers a picturesque setting that promises to make any wedding truly unforgettable. Willen lake is a notorious spot amongst regular visitors of the town, just off of the M1 and now complete with a really cool waterpark, it’s the place to be for action and adventure.
Not the most logical place for a wedding photographer milton keynes to suggest for a post wedding shoot, but hopefully you’ll agree with me looking at the images that it is indeed a beautiful place, if you know where to look! Willow trees make for excellent shooting spots, the long branches create curtains of emerald green when backlit, and when lit from the front, light is able to carve interesting shapes and pockets of light to make for the most beautiful couple portraits. The wedding itself took place at a new local church, which i believe is only there on a temporary basis as they find a new place of worship, so I’ll leave the name out for now. I love Willen so much, it made it onto my list of best locations for couple portraits in Milton Keynes
